Team Fit4Function Workshops

Team Fit4Function workshops explore how each person’s motivational ‘fit’ supports the teams overall functioning. The workshops are individually tailored to unite, explore and explain the dynamics of the work group.
What are the workshops about?
The workshops explore the following themes:

How does each member fit into our team?

What is the anatomy of conflict and cooperation in our team?

How does the functioning of the group support or sabotage the team goals?

How can they educate others about how to work with them?

How can we communicate in someone else's 'language'?
By exploring each team members’ Motivational Map, you can uncover what drives them to do what they do in the workplace and how these behaviours and preferences impact the overall functioning of the team.
The Motivational Maps allow team members to see each other more clearly, to understand each other better, and ultimately to negotiate agreements around the impacts of different working styles and communication styles on the productivity and harmony of the group.
How are they run?
The Team Fit4Function workshops are strategically designed to cover motivational fit at three levels:
1/ Individual – How they fit into their own job role and what drives them to behave the way they do
2/ Team – How each person fits into the functioning of the team, and
3/ Organisational – How the team is then positioned to deliver its objectives, based on the motivational drivers of its members.
The success of the workshops is based on the careful design of the program, incorporating core adult learning principles, including experiential exercises, a highly interactive format, case studies, personal reflection and on-going discussion. These key elements serve to underpin the depth of insight and integration available from the workshops.
Team Fit4Function workshops can be tailored to suit the needs of the team or organisation, but will contain at least three fundamental elements, regardless of the final tailored program. These include:
1/ Individual debriefs with each team member about their own Motivational Map
2/ Three hour team session, and
3/ Strategies for ongoing support, retention and reinforcement of key learnings, take-aways and actions developed by the group.
An integration support program is available where required.
